Dream Anatomy

My very dear friend and workmate Jerome put me onto a website containing a collection of historic anatomical illustrations from the National Library of Medicine called "Dream Anatomy". Some images are scientifically accurate and beautifully rendered, while others are almost more superstitious in nature and seem to refelect a time when people believed that the human body contained something more mysterious and inexplicable than just blood and guts. At any rate, it's hard not to find these visceral images eerily compelling. Thanks Jerome.
